Why should you use Pup Rider?
To make your schedule easier during the work day, when you are out of town, or when something pops up.
What area does Pup Rider service?
Servicing Downtown San Diego, Coronado, Imperial Beach, Bonita. Any ride that is 25+ miles from 91932 may incur a travel fee of $20.
I have more than one dog, how does that work?
You can enter this information when completing the Intake Form. Multiple dogs are subject to an extra fee.
What if my dog needs to be fed and/or walked before or after the transportation?
Additional services like feeding, walking, or boarding of your pets can be discussed during the Meet and Greet. Additional fees will apply.
Is a Meet & Greet required before making a reservation?
Yes. We want to make sure the dog(s) and driver meet before the pickup and that it’s a good fit for both. This is also a time when we collect important information about your home, your dog, their habits, and needs.
What if my cat needs a ride?
No problem, we can accommodate rides for cats.
What should I provide for the ride?
You tell us the best way to transport your pup(s). You can pack their favorite blanket, toy, treat, bowls, etc.
Comfort: How does your dog like to be transported? Do they lay on a dog bed, in a crate, or sit in the back seat (safety belt attached to harness)? We will make it comfy for them.
Playlist: Let us know their favorite songs and we’ll play it
Fun: Do you want footage of your fur baby?
Convenient: We can pick up / drop off your dog even if you aren’t home. Just provide the details.
ETA Notifications: You will receive notifications regarding pick up and drop off times.

We offer many discounts; military families, senior citizens, new clients, partner referrals, local rides. If you refer a friend to Pup Rider, you will also receive a discounted ride.
Are you certified? What experience do you have with dogs?
Yes, we are certified and a member of NAPPS (National Association of Professional Pet Sitters). The NAPPS Certification acknowledges that the pet sitter is a serious professional who has obtained a high level of expertise through their study. We are also CPR and First Aid certified through Pet Tech. Pet Tech is the premier Pet CPR, First Aid & Care Training on the planet.

Are you insured?
Yes, we are insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates with General Liability, Care, Custody, and Control, Pet Daycare & Boarding, as well as Handling Coverage. We can provide proof of insurance upon request.
