The concept of Pup Rider began in 2015 when I relocated to San Diego. I kept telling everyone I was going to be a dog walker temporarily. I ended up walking dogs for 3 years. When my dream job came along, it was bittersweet. The time I spent meeting owners and bonding with dogs was special. In my mind, I knew I would come back to the pet industry.

During my time as a dog walker, I had an incident where I needed to take a dog to the vet because it had been stung by a bee. I had to rework my schedule to assist them. That’s when the idea of Pup Rider came to me. It took a few more years for the business to become a reality, but I knew it was a good idea. Dog owners lead busy lives, and providing services to support them is important.
